The event is a part of Pääsiäissaari (Easter Island) educational project which is held at the Helsinki Zoo for the first time. The project comprises of Easter Island adventure route at the zoo and four events between 25th March and 17th April 2006. The themes are endangerad animals, the use of natural resources and the everyday choices we as individuals make. The web pages of the project offer schools educational material. On 8th-9th April there are a few birdwatching sites with guides who help the visitors to make observations. Birdlife Finland tells about its white-winged flufftail project in Etiopia. Other programme: nest box exhibition, workshop of hobby crafts for children, adventure play of birdman cult in Easter Island, zoo bird feedings etc.
