Celebrating World Migratory Bird Day

This roost hosts millions of European barn swallows every winter (dry season in Nigeria). I have been involved in mist netting at the site since 2009. I plan to use WMBD to expand the conservation awareness we have been creating over the years by involving conservation clubs in both primary and post primary school students. I plan to organize a lecture and an art competition among the school conservation clubs, at the end the best clubs will be given presents.
