Birdwatching in Asembo

I'm a professional safari guide, a member of the Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association 'B' Level.
While growing up around Lake Victoria we hunted a lot of birds just for fun not knowing that birds were going to be one of my future hobbies and a way of earning my living through ecotourism.
It is in this course, that my friends and I have decided to undertake a birdwatching activity around where I grew up (Asembo,Bondo).
The event will start very early in the morning of the 10th May 2008, some of the participants will be traveling with me from Nairobi to Bondo some 410kms away, a day before 10th May 2008. Accommodation will be provided at my home for free-of-charge.
On 10th of May the locals and us shall wake up quite early for the birdwatching activity. Which will culminate with some education activity to the locals on the importance of migratory birds.
