Bienvenida á las Carracas - Welcome Common Roller

Durante esta semana se registran las primeras observaciones de carraca (Coracias garrulus)y la asociación la carraca, ha preparado un evento informal para congregar a todos los aficionados a la ornitología para celebrar que la carraca ya está llegando a sus áreas de nidificación y finalizando su viaje migratorio prenupcial. El domingo 17 de abril, conoceremos de la mano de los voluntarios de la asociación, la vegetación natural del hábitat de la carraca, realizaremos un concurso de identificación de aves y otra actividad infantil de dibujo de aves. El sábado 16 de abril realizaremos una actividad de anillamiento de pequeñas aves en la Estación de Anillamiento de Aves del Humedal de Ajauque. Estas actividades cuentan con la colaboración del Programa de Voluntariado en Ríos del Ministerio de Medio Ambiente, Medio Rural y Marino.During this week we will report the first observations of Common roller (Coracias garrulus) and the association “La Carraca” has organized an informal event to bring together all birdwatchers to celebrate the Common roller is arriving to their nesting areas and completing its prenuptial migration journey. On Sunday 17 April, we will get to know, thanks to the volunteers of the association, the natural vegetation of the Common roller habitat, we will have a bird identification contest and a children's drawing activity of birds. On Saturday 16 April we will have a banding activity of small birds in the Bird Banding Station of the Ajauque Wetland. These activities count with the collaboration of the Rivers Volunteers Program of the Ministry of Environment, Rural and Marine Affairs.
