Migration is one of the natural phenomena that continues to awe people of all ages, cultures, backgrounds. Birds fly extremely long distances, some to the other end of the Planet, to meet their partner and reproduce, then, six months later, they fly to the other end to provide adequate feeding and shelter to their offspring during the winter. This is their nature, not their choice. Their journey is dangerous and strenuous and we are making it worse. It is crucial that we stop threatening migratory routes and stand up to facilitate this irreplaceable wonder of the natural world and protect the flyways. Without them nature won’t be the same.
